Our Story

We never rushed to name the retreat. Each time we came up, the same detail stayed with us. In the early mornings, before the day fully began, the mist would already be there, settled low between the trees, wrapped around the home as if it belonged.

The mountains would fade. The air would soften. Time seemed to slow without asking.
 
You step outside with coffee and stay longer than you meant to, completely still, completely present.
 
One morning, standing there surrounded by it, someone said, “it feels like we are inside the mist”.
 
That was it.

A name that feels like the place itself, a home set gently in the mist, quiet, atmospheric, and just removed enough from the rest of the world.


And the more we said it, the more it felt like we hadn’t named it at all. We had simply recognized it.

  • How can I reserve my stay?

    Reservations may be made directly through our website or with personalized assistance. Please note that the minimum rental age is 25, per HOA requirements. To confirm your reservation, guests must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a valid government issued ID within 48 hours of booking.

  • How many guests can the cabin accommodate?

    The cabin comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, including children and infants, offering a spacious and refined setting ideal for families, couples, or intimate group retreats. To comply with fire and safety guidelines, we are unable to exceed the maximum occupancy limit.

  • What are the cabin’s sleeping accommodations?

    The cabin features three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own private en suite bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy for guests.


    • Primary Suite — Features a king bed, 55" Smart TV, dedicated workspace, accent chair, dresser, nightstands, remote-controlled ceiling fan, and a spacious en suite bathroom.
    • Second Bedroom — Includes a queen bed, 55" Smart TV, dresser, two nightstands, remote-controlled ceiling fan, and private en suite bathroom.
    • Third Bedroom — Designed with a bunk bed setup, dresser, remote-controlled ceiling fan, and private en suite bathroom, making it ideal for children or additional guests.

    An additional half bath is conveniently located on the main living level for guest use.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in begins at 5:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. To ensure each stay is thoughtfully prepared, we’re unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs due to scheduled cleaning and service arrangements.

  • Does the property include a pool and spa?

    Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private heated pool and spa with a TV on deck, designed for quiet relaxation and comfort. Please note that heating times may vary with outdoor temperatures, and the spa may take several hours to reach its ideal temperature after check-in.

  • Are pets permitted?

    To preserve the comfort and experience of all guests, pets are not permitted at the property.

  • Are parties or events allowed on the property?

    To preserve the quiet atmosphere of the cabin and comply with HOA guidelines, parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted. The property is reserved exclusively for registered guests seeking a peaceful retreat.

  • Is Wi-Fi available throughout the property?

    Yes, the cabin offers fast, reliable Wi Fi throughout, ideal for streaming, remote work, or staying connected.

  • What entertainment and attractions are nearby?

    We are 7 minutes away from the ski resort, 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, and 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood.

  • What is your smoking policy?

    To maintain a fresh and comfortable environment for all guests, smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco or cannabis products inside the cabin is not permitted.

  • Are firepits available at the property?

    Yes, guests can enjoy two firepit areas during their stay — one located on the deck for elevated outdoor lounging, and a second firepit situated in front of the property, perfect for gathering under the stars and enjoying the mountain atmosphere.

  • Is the property available year round?

    Yes, the cabin is accessible year-round. During winter weather, we recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle for the most comfortable and reliable access in snowy or icy conditions.

  • Is parking available at the property:

    Yes, the property comfortably accommodates up to 4 vehicles. To maintain the accessibility and appearance of the property, RVs, boats, and trailers are not permitted.
